Landscaping and Environmental Conservation

On site project based landscaping activities. Featuring and maintaining six and a half acres of conservation land incorporating natural streams, paved walkways, wildlife habitats, sensory garden, formal gardens and picnic areas.

Everyone taking part in this ‘real live’ work activity has the opportunity to achieve Nationally Recognised Qualifications awarded by City & Guilds / NPTC. Assessments are carried out by our own teaching staff in the natural work environment. Individuals are allowed to train and progress at their own pace. Tuition is mostly practical with numeracy and literacy embedded as routine. Extra help is on hand, suitable even for those who may struggle reading or writing.

Attendance patterns can be arranged around other commitments e.g. college or social activities. Individuals may choose to attend any number of days from one day up to five days per week to suit their needs. Transport can be arranged subject to availability.
