Direct Payments / Budgets
What are Direct Payments ?
Anyone who uses or is eligible
for Community Care Services from Social Services can access Direct Payments to
meet their needs. This includes ;
- People with Learning Disabilities
- People with Physical Disabilities
- Carers
Direct Payments or Personalised Budgets as they are often known, can be paid
directly to you by Social Services so that you can purchase the support you need
around everyday living that gives you independence, choice and control.
Can I use my Direct Payments to buy a place at
Midstream?
Yes……
We simply send you an invoice every month for
the days you have agreed to attend.
Alternatively your Social Worker may arrange for your Local Authority to
commission a place for you at Midstream.
Contact us or telephone us 01695 555316 if you
wish to purchase a place at Midstream with your Direct Payments. If you
are not in receipt of Direct Payments and think you may be eligible, we will
advise you what to do. |
